Redeemer Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, a conservative church body of over 6,100 concregations thoughout the country. We seek to be faithful to Christ and faithful heirs of the Lutheran Reformation. We confess a sole reliance on Christ for our salvation (Grace Alone). As Lutherans we are sacramental and confessional, thus tying us to the early church and real, historical Christianity.
We provide a local fellowship where we hear God’s Word preached in truth and purity and the Sacraments are rightly administered. In this fellowship, where our faith is strengthened by Word and Sacrament, we praise God for His many blessings and grow in Christ, while making a strong confession of the Christian Faith in our community. We encourage our members to be actively engaged in outreach to serve the needs of our community through their various vocations.
Our congregation has over 390 baptized members. We worship on Sunday mornings at 8:00 am and 10:30 am with Sunday School/Adult bible classes starting at 9:15 am. The Lord's Supper is served on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We also have seasonal midweek services during Advent and Lent which are held at 6:30 pm.
Redeemer Lutheran Church was organized in 1934. It moved to its present site, on South Cleveland Street, in 1959 to serve the growing west side of Enid. Our facilities include a Family Life Center (gym, kitchen, classrooms and office space) which was completed in 1990. The Sanctuary has gone through a remodeling and was rededicated in 2013. We will also be, in the near future, remodeling the narthex area expanding it to include classrooms (one of which will be a tornado safe room), nursery, and new office space.
